Tetramythos Winery

One of the most up- and-coming wineries of Greece, situated on the slopes of Mt Helmos, Aigialeia, in the Peloponnese.  Tetramythos Winery with 14ha of vines, planted at an altitude ranging from 600-1050m, farmed organically and certified organic since 1997. The Spanos brothers teamed up with Panagiotis Papagiannopoulos, their very talented winemaker, and have focused on low intervention, terroir-driven PDO and PGI wines made from both indigenous Greek varieties and international varieties (Roditis, Mavro Kalavritino, Agiorgitiko, Malagousia, Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon). Micro-vinifications for separate varieties and separate vineyards. The modern, gravity-operated winery was completed in 2004. The philosophy of the winery is high-quality fruit that will give wines character and a sense of place.
