Santorini Natural Ferment
The top cuvée from Gavalas Winery was produced in a few thousand bottles - 4000 only in the 2019 vintage. It is intensely smoky on the nose with impressive definition and clarity. Great purity on the palate, almost buttery, but with a second sip, you feel the elegance and zest.
Made with 100% Assyrtiko grapes from the vineyard that is considered to be the oldest in Greece boasting vines up to 500 years old. It is best served at 8-12oC. An ideal accompaniment to seafood, fish, pasta, white meats with light sauces, and cheeses.
This is a Greek Wine that is utterly delightful and exclusive.
