Mitravelas Estate

One of the oldest wineries in Nemea that takes a very focused approach on the Agiorgitiko grape and its great dynamics. The history of the estate dates back to 1913 and nowadays Konstantinos Mitravelas runs the family-owned winery with an endless passion and love for Agiorgitiko. The Nemea bottlings are outstanding, highlighting the versatility of Agiorgitiko/St-George grape but definitely, the jewel in the crown of the Mitravelas Estate is the Old Vineyard Nemea. Produced from old unirrigated vines that deliver super-concentrated grapes, the wine is left to macerate for a long period and with judicious use of oak it expresses the Agiorgitiko grape at its best. A lovely, powerful, yet balanced wine made for the long haul.
